“You heard about the weather trend?” says colleague at the door;

“It’s fifty-nine by Friday, which is what they’re calling for.”

But right away another balked at forecast hereby proffered:

“The weather guy says sleet or maybe snow is what was offered.”

I ask a half a dozen folks, and every one — indeed —

Was certain of the forecast heard, yet none of them agreed!

The forecast you’re repeating bears a cautionary spin:

Depends on whom you heard it from, and where but also when.
