Missouri and Kansas joined Duke as the only college basketball teams to land multiple selections to the Wooden Award midseason top 25 list.

For the Tigers, senior forward Laurence Bowers and junior guard Phil Pressey were selected. For the Jayhawks, senior center Jeff Withey and freshman guard Ben McLemore made the list. Mason Plumlee and Seth Curry were the Duke players chosen.

Bowers and Pressey were the only Southeastern Conference players selected. Besides Withey and McLemore, two other Big 12 players, Baylor’s Pierre Jackson and Oklahoma State’s Marcus Smart, were picked.
