KCK standoff results in criminal charges

Criminal charges have been filed against a man involved in a stand-off with Kansas City, Kan., police last week.

Christopher Harris, 42, was charged Saturday in Wyandotte County District Court with attempted aggravated burglary and criminal damage to property.

Harris surrendered to police Friday after they had surrounded a house in the 1400 block of Orville Avenue for several hours following a reported burglary attempt in the area.
