— During the weekly SEC coaches conference call on Monday, Missouri coach Frank Haith said he didn't think junior forward Tony Criswell - a valued energy guy off the bench - would be ready for Missouri's 6 p.m. home game against Alabama on Tuesday.

Criswell has missed Missouri's last two games with a broken finger on his left (non-shooting) hand.

"We're still waiting to hear (for sure)," Haith said, "but I don't think he's going to play."

Haith has said that Criswell, who has emerged as MU's first big off the bench, is his team's best post defender, and noted that he has been missed after the Tigers' narrow 66-64 win over Bucknell on Saturday.

Criswell, who wore a cast on his hand Saturday, is averaging six points and five rebounds this season.
