Le’Bryan Nash, a sophomore, is the team’s leading scorer. Marcus Smart, a freshman, is the most athletic player. … Oklahoma State won the Puerto Rico Tip-Off Challenge with easy wins over Tennessee and North Carolina State. Its two losses came at Virginia Tech by 10 and against Gonzaga by a point.

•  ABOUT KANSAS STATE (11-2, 0-0 Big 12): Rodney McGruder was K-State’s top player during its nonconference games, but Will Spradling and Angel Rodriguez weren’t far behind. All three are averaging more than nine points. … Shane Southwell and Nino Williams could give the Wildcats a matchup advantage inside. Both players can use the speed and shooting ability to bring defenders away from the basket. … K-State will need Jordan Henriquez to provide defense at the rim, though. … K-State swept the season series against Oklahoma State last season and won the second game 77-58.
