MU notes: Bell returns home

Updated: 2012-12-29T05:56:07Z

Friday’s game was a homecoming for MU senior Keion Bell, a Los Angeles native who played three years at Pepperdine before transferring to MU last season.

• Missouri coach Frank Haith went with the same lineup for the second straight game, starting Phil Pressey, Keion Bell, Jabari Brown, Laurence Bowers and Alex Oriakhi.

• The start of Missouri’s final non-conference game, against Bucknell on Jan. 5, has been moved from 6 p.m. to 3 p.m. It is a sellout.

• With the loss, Missouri’s December winning streak ended at 25 games.

• The trip was Missouri’s first visit to Pauley Pavilion since 1975. UCLA now leads the all-time series 6-1.
