UMKC at No. 25 Kansas State
Kansas State University
UMKC-Kansas State basketball preview
December 28
• WHEN/WHERE: 6 p.m. Saturday at Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kan.
• TV/RADIO: Fox Sports KC; WHB (810 AM), KCXL (102.9 FM, 1140 AM)• ABOUT UMKC (4-8): The Kangaroos have lost four straight. Their last victory came against North Dakota. UMKC has tested itself early, traveling to Ohio State and Louisville for games. But the Roos lost both handily.
• ABOUT KANSAS STATE (9-2): Jordan Henriquez was the biggest difference-maker in K-State’s upset win against Florida. Unlike previous games against strong competition, he came through with points, rebounds and blocks. He will look to keep that momentum going against UMKC.
• BOTTOM LINE: As long as K-State takes a businesslike approach to this game, it should win easily.
