Called "Gone Girl," it was a thriller, set in Missouri, with a pinball narrative of a disappearance and a marriage in decay.
Now a website devoted to books has determined that "Gone Girl" was the most reviewed book of the year, at least according to the tally of members of Goodreads.com.
Hard to say what consitutes a review, but the site counted 22,383 reviews of the novel.
