The Royals hope to turn the corner in 2013 on what has been a brutal couple of decades, and they’ll do so with a new look for their batting caps.

ESPN’s Uni Watch took a look at each team’s new hat, and here is the Royals’ new and old look.

I kind of like the new look, but I can’t say as the new caps do anything for me one way or another. However, at least they are not offensive (check out the Braves’ new hats).

The Royals’ new hat gets a grade of a B from the blog and that seems about right.
