Power restored at KCI

Power has been restored to Kansas City International Airport’s Terminal B this afternoon after a transformer blew out.

The ticketing counter and gate area for Southwest Airlines was without power from 10:25 a.m. to 11 a.m., an airport spokesman said. No flights were affected, he said.

One flight for Oakland, Calif. has been delayed later today, but that was unrelated to the power outage.
