KCK police seeking Honda minivan missing from murder location

Kansas City, Kan., police are asking the public’s help to find a minivan missing from the scene of a recent homicide.

The silver 2007 Honda Odyssey with Kansas license plate 361-CPH is being sought in connection with the killing of a man found dead last Sunday inside the bedroom of his home in the 3000 block of North 115th Street, according to police.

The victim, 69-year-old Peter Belmont Jr., was a former teacher and prominent figure in the world of dog show competitions. Police have not released a cause of death.

Anyone who knows about the vehicle or has any information about the crime is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
