Q. My driveway is cracked in many places and needs replacing. However, my house garage and house are settling. Which do you recommend gets fixed first?

A. Without knowing exactly how bad either situation is, I would recommend fixing the garage/house first. There may be trucks or machinery that need to travel over the driveway to access the repair area. Also, if the settling garage/house connection to the driveway changes with any repairs, you would want the new driveway to accommodate any changes at this transition.
