KCK homicide victim identified

Kansas City, Kan., police today announced that a suspicious death discovered Sunday afternoon has been ruled a homicide.

Police identified the victim as 69-year-old Peter Belmont of Kansas City, Kan.

Belmont was found about 2 p.m. Sunday after officers were called to the 3000 block of North 115th Street on a report of a dead body. Police have not released a cause of death or information about possible suspects.
