More than 100 aircraft mechanics, technicians, inspectors and engineers are being recruited at a job fair on Thursday, Nov. 29, in Wichita.

The catch is that the recruiting is for one-year contract jobs located in Denver.

Aerotek Inc., a recruiting and staffing service staging the job fair, said there are opportunities for Kansas City area workers who are willing to relocate temporarily.

The temporary jobs — at the Sierra Nevada Corp., an electronics, engineering and manufacturing company — could extend beyond the year, the staffing firm said.

The recruiting event will be held from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Double Tree Hotel at the Wichita Airport.
