Q. I have some nail pops on the ceiling in my house. What should I do?

A. To repair nail protrusions through a ceiling, you’ll need to reset the nails, patch the holes, repair the ceiling texture (if there is any), then paint the repair. If you are comfortable with painting the repairs yourself, you could call a drywall contractor to make the ceiling and texture repairs. However, there are many painting contractors who often make these kinds of repairs themselves. This is often a convenient way to handle these types of repairs if you don’t want to tackle blending the paint, or if necessary, repainting the entire ceiling. There are several excellent painting contractors who can take care of that type of work in the Kansas City area.
