• ABOUT MISSOURI (3-0, 0-0 SEC): The Tigers are coming off a solid 74-54 win over Nicholls State in which their big men Alex Oriakhi and Laurence Bowers dominated down low. The Tigers also got out to a strong start, reversing a troubling trend.
• ABOUT STANFORD (3-1, 0-0 Pac-12): Missouri coach Frank Haith calls Stanford "well-coached" and smart, so the Tigers will need to execute on both ends of the floor. Junior forward Dwight Powell will command MUs attention with his overall ability.
• BOTTOM LINE: Consider this MUs first real test of the season. Keep an eye on whether Oriakhi can continue to grab rebounds at a ridiculous clip. If he can, and the Tigers can space the floor with their outside shooting, a victory seems likely.
