Do tell the truth

Will these Chiefs ever win another game this season?
Maybe on Dec. 2 against Carolina. Possibly at Cleveland on Dec. 9. But those teams at least took opponents to overtime on Sunday. That leaves the game at Oakland on Dec. 16.
So whats there to look forward to in the last six weeks?
If youre a fan of good quarterbacks, look whos coming to town: four-time MVP Peyton Manning of Denver next week; Heisman Trophy winner and 2011 first overall pick Cam Newton of Carolina on Dec. 2; and 2012 first overall pick Andrew Luck of Indianapolis on Dec. 23.
Do the Chiefs have anyone to play wide receiver next week?
If Dwayne Bowe (neck) and Jon Baldwin (head/neck) are unavailable, it could be time to elevate some practice squad players to the active roster. Steve Breaston, who went from inactive to starting on Sunday, caught one pass for 13 yards. Devon Wylie was targeted twice without a catch. Josh Bellamy and Jamar Newsome looked good enough in training camp to keep, and Junior Hemingway was a seventh-round pick, so why not give them a shot?
What was the biggest failure of the Chiefs defense?
They just cant seem to create many turnovers that could help a struggling offense with good field position or even put some points on the board. (Same can be said for the punt and kickoff return units). The Chiefs entered Sundays game with just 10 takeaways all season, fourth fewest in the NFL.
Were there any bright spots on Sunday?
Nose tackle Dontari Poe made a tackle for loss and deflected a pass. Tyson Jackson got his first sack of the season and third of his 54-game career. Small steps, people.
Could anything else go wrong this weekend?
Southern Californias Matt Barkley, who could be the best quarterback coming out of the draft next year, suffered a shoulder injury on Saturday against UCLAUSC. Oy.
Thats how much the Chiefs have been outscored in five home losses this season.
There are no excuses for how we played today.
