Stargazing | Channing Tatum, Peoples next Sexiest Man Alive?
November 7

Gossip Cops scoop of the week: Channing Tatum will be People magazines Sexiest Man Alive this year.
People refuses to verify that before the official announcement on Nov. 14. But this at least gives us a few extra days to debate whether Channing is worthy of the crown. (Yes! Yes! We vote yes!)
The Magic Mike star would follow in Bradley Coopers footsteps, last years sexiest man, and Ryan Reynolds, who won in 2010.
Brookes loss
Brooke Shields mother and longtime manager, Teri Shields, died last week in Manhattan after a reported long illness. She was 79 and had suffered from dementia, a spokesperson for the actress told The New York Times.
Anyone who has followed Brookes long career shes been at it since she earned $25 for an Ivory Soap ad when she was 11 months old will know that her relationship with her mother had been rocky over the years.
Brooke broke off her professional relationship with Teri in 1995, calling the move the hardest thing.
Kirsties crush
Juicy tidbit from Kirstie Alleys new memoir, The Art of Men: She fell in love with Patrick Swayze when they filmed the 1985 miniseries North and South. The problem? They were both married, and not to each other.
We did not have an affair, she tells Entertainment Tonight. But again, I think what I did was worse. Because I think when you fall in love with someone when youre married, you jeopardize your own marriage and their marriage. Its doubly bad.
No. Really?
Feud of the week
Chuck Lorre, creator of Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory, is in the middle of a smackdown with the folks at The Bachelor.
On one of his infamous vanity card rants, this one flashed on-screen after a recent Big Bang Theory episode, Chuck called the ABC dating show idiotic.
And then, Bachelor producer Elan Gale tweeted this: Someone has been freebasing crushed up copies of Dharma & Greg DVDs.
She calls it what?
Little beauty pageant princess Alana Thompson has done got herself a new pet chicken and named it Nugget.
The chicken replaces Glitzy, the pet pig that Alana (also known as Honey Boo Boo) had to give away because it kept waking her up really early in the morning. And a girls gotta get her beauty sleep, ya know.
Glitzy was returned to his breeder.
So glad his name wasnt Bacon.
