— Injured linebacker Tre Walker led K-State onto the field Saturday, but did not play in the Wildcats’ 44-30 victory over Oklahoma State.

Walker, from Olathe North, the Wildcats was wearing his jersey, but also sported sweats and no pads. He wasn’t walking on crutches as he indicated earlier in the week on Twitter, but he did have a noticeable limp.

K-State has not commented on his injury but it is feared that Walker could miss the rest of the season.

• Special guests at Saturday’s game included two Orange Bowl representatives and NFL scouts from the Chiefs, Jets and 49ers. Former K-State players Carson Coffman and Tysyn Hartman, who is currently playing for the Chiefs, also watched the game from the sidelines.
