Your mums might be biting the dust, but the blooms in your closet should be surviving nicely. Unpack your floral print pieces. The popular trend from spring and summer is a mainstay for another few months, thanks to designers such as Dolce & Gabbana who sent large, colorful floral designs down their fall and winter runways.

White House Black Market has florals in its collection this season. Their pieces, mostly separates or ready-to-wear dresses, mix grey and neutral tones with black-and-white buds for fresh looks that can be easily paired with items already in your closet. Some of their prints combine a pop of color or animal print with a floral design for a fun surprise.

Floral patterns add a sweet femininity to your wardrobe regardless of the season. And let’s face it, in January in Kansas City, the roses on your cardigan are the only ones that you are going to see for a long, long time.
