Second Nevada, Mo., diner dies of crash injuries

A second man who was in a diner when a semitrailer plowed into it Oct. 19 has died of his injuries.

John Becker, 71, of Nevada, Mo., died Thursday.

Also killed was 54-year-old Joseph Cole of Nevada. Investigators say the truck driver couldn’t avoid a car that pulled in front of him, hitting both the car and then the diner.
