The Kansas City Royals announced Monday that the team had selected a Mission company as its new advertising agency of record.
The firm, Walz Tetrick Advertising, will begin immediately to prepare for the 2013 season with responsibilities in creative development, production, and media planning.
Michael Bucek, the Royals’ vice president of marketing, said the team was fortunate to have several choices for an advertising agency.
“Walz Tetrick came to the forefront with their originality,” he said in a statement.
Charles Tetrick, the advertising agency owner, said the Royals were a perfect fit for his company.
“We are thrilled to be working with one of the most iconic brands in Kansas City,” he said.
