Memphis power forward picks Mizzou

Johnathan Williams III, the No. 48-ranked player in the Class of 2013 by Rivals.com, gave an oral commitment to Missouri on Thursday night, according to PowerMizzou.com.

Williams, a 6-foot-9, 210-pound power forward from Memphis, Tenn., chose the Tigers over Michigan State and Georgetown. He is the Tigers’ third and highest-rated 2013 commitment, joining point guards Wesley Clark of Romulus, Mich., and Travis Jorgenson, a former KC Pump & Run player from Columbia who attends the New Hampton School in New Hampshire.
