The Kansas City Marathon is Saturday morning, meaning several Kansas City streets will be closed for several hours before and after the 7:05 a.m. start.

The start/finish line is near Crown Center at 22nd and Grand Boulevlard, and the runners will pass through the Power & Light District, past Union Station and the Liberty Memorial, through Midtown, Westport, the Country Club Plaza, Loose Park, Waldo, Brookside, the Nelson-Atkins Museum, Hyde Park and the 18th and Vine District. Major streets affected include Grand, Main, Westport Road, Roanoke Parkway, 47th Street, Ward Parkway, 75th Street, Wornall Road, Brookside Boulevard, Volker Boulevard, Gillham Road and The Paseo.
There is also a half-marathon and 5-kilometer run that will overlap the marathon course.
