Farmland gives Harvesters $50,000

Harvesters — The Community Food Network reaped a $50,000 donation Thursday from Farmland Foods and its recent “Bacon A Difference” campaign.

Farmland also donated more than 5,000 packages of bacon and will advertise for Harvesters on Richard Petty Motorsports’ No. 43 Ford this weekend at the Sprint Cup Series Race at Kansas Speedway.

If No. 43 wins Sunday’s race, Farmland will double its donation to $100,000.
