Missouri and Illinois have extended the Braggin’ Rights basketball game through 2017 at Scottrade Center, the schools announced Thursday in St. Louis.

The schools added six years to one of college basketball’s top neutral site rivalries. This year’s game is Dec. 22.

Illinois leads the series 20-11, but the Tigers have won the last three meetings.

Missouri will know something about future football scheduling later in the day. The SEC is expected to announce the 2013 conference football schedule in the early afternoon.
