KCK police identify two weekend homicide victims

Kansas City, Kan., police on Monday released the names of two homicide victims shot to death over the weekend in separate incidents.

Marlon M. Lockett, 35, was killed Saturday in the 4300 block of Parallel Parkway.

On Sunday, police said that 37-year-old Felipe Fernandez III was killed in the 2200 block of Garfield Avenue. A man police described as a person of interest in the investigation turned himself in Sunday. A second man police were seeking to interview remained at large Monday.

Police are asking that anyone with information about either crime to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
