Jones, a Memphis native who was expected to take a visit to Kansas, took a recruiting trip to Louisville this past weekend. One of the top juco prospects in the country, Jones initially committed to Tennessee out of high school before landing at Northwest Florida State College.
Jones’ decision comes just two days after Anthony “Cat” Barber, one of the top point guards in the Class of 2013, elected to commit to North Carolina State over Kansas and Alabama.
