To create space for Hemingway, the Chiefs terminated the practice squad contract of offensive lineman Rich Ranglin.
Hemingway, 6 feet 1 and 222 pounds, had one catch for 14 yards during the preseason. Ranglin, 6 feet 3 and 315 pounds, spent three seasons in the Arena Football League before joining the Chiefs.
