Together again?

British media report that after a phone conversation that lasted more than an hour, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are ready to meet face-to-face for the first time since her cheating became public.

Maybe she’ll like his new look.

“Rob wants to show (her) what she’s thrown away,” a friend tells celebrity gossip spreader Perez Hilton. “He’s spent a fortune in the past two weeks on his hair, teeth whitening and a spray tan. He’s bought an array of Gucci suits ... and he’s stepping up his exercise regime ... to get in shape.”

Stupid mommy trick

Kim Kardashian tweeted a photo of her sister Kourtney cooking breakfast at the stove while wearing her 1-month-old baby, Penelope, in a baby sling over her stomach. Online commenters had the same reaction we did.

Said one: “She’s either going to SMOTHER the baby in the pouch, or BURN it on the stove! I can’t watch.”

A nod to Nordstrom

Big kudos to Nordstrom for hiring Angela Rockwood, a wheelchair-bound model and star of the Sundance Channel’s “Push Girls,” for an ad campaign. A car accident 11 years ago left the model without the use of her legs and with limited use of her arms.

“When I was on set for Nordstrom, I felt like I was at ‘home’ again,” she tells People magazine. “It was like throwing a fighter back in the ring to win their belt after a major setback.”

It’s about what?

Jon Turteltaub, best known for his work on the “National Treasure” movies, has a new project in mind.

It’s about a chubby 4-year-old child who falls overboard during a family outing, is adopted and raised by whales and goes on to become a champion swimmer. The movie’s called “Beached.” We kid you not.

It’s not him

Steven Spielberg denies a story by the New York Post’s Page Six that he is making a movie based on the Mark Owens book “No Easy Day” about the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Stone-cold reality

“There was this one Hasidic guy who wore a suit, and he was following me around for a while in New York. He was taking my picture, and I was like, ‘What are you doing?’ And he put down the camera and was really nervous and said, ‘This week, People is running a story on you, so I need three pictures.’ And I was like, ‘Well, at least I know why you’re here.’ ” — Emma Stone, in the September issue of Interview magazine.

Stargazer Lisa Gutierrez wonders if Robert Pattinson ll wear a “Kristen Stewart is a Trampire” T-shirt to their meet-up. To reach her, call 816-234-4987 or send email to lgutierrez@kcstar.com.
