Warzycha, 23, was the clubs third-round pick in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft. He missed his rookie season after having surgery on his right knee, and made his only league appearance subbing on for one minute in a June 16 win against Toronto FC at Livestrong Sporting Park.
Warzycha is the son of Columbus Crew coach Robert Warzycha. He also appeared in two matches during Sporting KCs run to the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup championship and started both international friendlies against Montpellier Herault SC and Stoke City FC.
One of two players to appear in every MLS Reserve League match for Sporting KC this season, Warzycha will be made available for the clubs two remaining reserve games.
