*Defensive tackle Lucas Vincent was wearing a red non-contact jersey after suffering an ankle injury. Team spokesman Chad Moller said it is not believed to be serious.
*Missouri was scheduled to practice this afternoon, but coach Gary Pinkel cancelled it in favor of a team-bonding trip. Moller told me the Tigers were going to the movies, with the option to see the new Will Ferrell movie "The Campaign" or the new action flick "The Bourne Legacy."
I've been working on the latest story in our "Life in the SEC" series, this one centered around Ole Miss. Be sure to check it out in tomorrow's Star. Also check out this story in today's Star about senior running back Kendial Lawrence, who watched film of several running backs, including former Alabama star Trent Richardson, this summer for inspiration.
