Jazz and randomness at the Gala

Really dug the jazz on the side stages Monday at the All-Star Gala. Definitely fitting for Kansas City. Relaxing with friends/coworkers in the Blue Room was a welcome break from All-Star craziness.

It had the feel of a giant, overdone wedding, but seeing one of my favorite random people, Annie B. from ONW, and a long-time Royals foil and 500-homer club member, Frank Thomas, made it unforgettable.

So did the creme brule.
