Chiefs' Cassel booed lustily ... The day after

Updated: 2012-07-09T20:02:27Z

Ok, first of all, I get it.

Matt Cassel has had lots of chances to lead the Chiefs to great things, and has thus far come up somewhat short.

Then he got hurt and sat out most of the season last fall.

But showering your starting QB with boos every time the announcer said his name at last night's All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game?

This town's friendly as can be, but I guess that serves as a potent reminder that it is in fact possible to run out of second chances, even in KC.
