Former KU star Thomas Robinson made his debut appearance in Sacramento on Saturday after being selected fifth overall by the Kings in the NBA Draft on Thursday.
According to the Sacramento Bee, Robinson arrived late Friday night a three-hour travel delay.
"I haven't gotten much sleep," Robinson said. "But I can catch up on that."
He described himself as a tireless worker who plans to be NBA ready by training camp.
"If I'm not ready now," he said, "I will be."
Robinson drew laughs from his coach, Keith Smart, and team owners Joe and Gavin Maloof when describing his style of play.
"I don't do anything perfect except rebound," Robinson said.
