Just for kicks

Just for kicks

A little kid’s kicking the back of my seat;

For twenty-five minutes, incessant the beat.

No use in alerting the parents; they’ll claim

Their angel’s behavior is never to blame.

It happens in theaters (movies or show);

In airplanes, you’re trapped (’cause there’s no place to go.)

At ballpark or stadium, innings accrue

And still there’s the throbbing of minuscule shoe.

With sigh I’ll endure this, ’twill likely repeat:

A little kid’s kicking the back of my seat.
