Kansas coach Bill Self has become well-versed in Kentucky coach John Calipari’s recruiting prowess. Since Calipari left Memphis for Kentucky in 2009, he and Self have gone head-to-head for nine high-level recruits who were seriously considering both Kansas and Kentucky, according to Rivals.com. Calipari has won six of those battles.
