•  ABOUT TEXAS A&M (13-13, 4-10 Big 12): Dash Harris has practiced recently with the Aggies and he may be able to play tonight, coach Billy Kennedy says. Harris has missed the last month because of an injured foot. He last played against Kansas on Jan. 23. … Khris Middleton, who has missed 12 games this season because of knee injuries, is coming off a 15-point effort against Missouri. … A&M got a nice effort from shooting guard Jordan Green against the Tigers with 14 points.

•  ABOUT KANSAS (22-5, 12-2 Big 12): Kansas has won four straight since the loss to Missouri and in that span, Jeff Withey has averaged 17.5 points, 11 rebounds and 5.8 blocked shots. Withey had eight blocks in the previous meeting with the Aggies. … The Jayhawks have won 12 conference games for the 12th straight years. Only A&M and Kansas State have reached double-digit Big 12 victories for the past two years. The Wildcats could get there this year. A&M won’t.

•  RPI: Kansas 6, Texas A&M 157

•  BOTTOM LINE: The Aggies played Kansas tough at Allen Fieldhouse last month. They led at halftime and trailed by two with seven minutes remaining before the Jayhawks prevailed 64-54. It was the kind of pace A&M wanted, and Kansas helped keep it close by shooting poorly. Tonight marks Kansas’ final Big 12 game against A&M, and KU’s final appearance in Reed Arena as league members. The Jayhawks have won all six games there. Saturday’s big game with Missouri looms, but as seven straight Big 12 titles attests, Kansas doesn’t overlook opponents and the Jayhawks should emerge from a low scoring contest with a victory.
