Should the Border War continue? Tell us what you think

The athletic administrators have had their say. The players and coaches will be quizzed on the topic in the coming days.

But we want to know how you, the fans, feel about the Border War.

Should it continue?

Should it end?

At the very least, Saturday's Missouri at Kansas game will mark the final regular-season meeting between the rivals as conference members.

They'll likely be the top two seeds in Big 12 Tournament at Sprint Center next month, which would put them on a collision course for a March 10 encounter. Who knows, maybe they'll meet in a Final Four clash in New Orleans, given the top-five ranking of the programs this season.

But with Missouri departing for the Southeastern Conference after this school year, and Kansas' athletic officials and coaches publicly stating the Jayhawks' aren't interested in continuing the rivalry that started on a football field in Kansas City in 1891 as a non-conference encounter, we want your opinion.

Vote in our poll and submit your comment below. We'd like to know what the Border War means to you.

The results and your thoughts will appear in an upcoming edition of The Star.
