The Royals and outfielder Alex Gordon have agreed to a one-year, $4.775 million deal.
Last season, Gordon batted .303 with 23 home runs, 87 RBIs and 17 stolen bases. He also set a Royals record with 20 outfield assists and won a Gold Glove.Gordon was the Royals' first-round pick (second overall) in the 2005 draft.More details to come.Read more Royals
