The team is currently encamped down in sunny and warm Tucson, Arizona (though it wasn't that much warmer than KC today). Before leaving and going into a virtual media blackout zone, Peter Vermes made a few trims to the roster.

Pablo Punyed (Supplemental Draft, 2nd round)***-Given leave of absence from team. **-Never reported to camp. Obviously, we'll have to see how Peter Vermes distributes playing time in the upcoming friendlies. Until then, it's hard to develop a depth chart for the midfielder and forward positions. Kansas City has a lot of versatile players in those two groups and a few players (Zusi, Joseph, Warzycha, Saydee) who could flip between the midfield or forward depending on the situation. There are also a few (Sassano, Cesar, Olum, Thomas, Miller) who can flip between midfield and defense. The team's first scrimmage is this Saturday against the San Jose Earthquakes.
