The toasts to which you raise your glass?

As charming as they’re quaint;

Reflecting quite the simpler time,

An era dim and faint:

“May all your days be ones of ease,

Your paths be walked in sun!

May wind be ever at your back

As waters smoothly run!”

Perhaps we need more modern toasts

As times have moved along:

“May signal that your phone receives

Be always four bars strong!”
