Oak Park Mall’s Houlihan’s restaurant is relocating — across the street.
Houlihan’s has been in a freestanding building at 11600 W. 95th St., Overland Park, for two decades. But the company has been converting its restaurants to a new prototype with smaller dining rooms for a more “intimate, neighborhood feel,” and much more efficient, ‘greener’ operations. Instead of shutting down the current Oak Park Mall restaurant for a remodel, the company has signed a lease for the former T.G.I. Friday’s freestanding building, also on 95th Street.
