Kansas City police have released the names of two men killed in central Kansas City Monday.
Police say that Lee R. Taliferro, 22, was the man suffering from gunshot wounds who was dropped off late Monday afternoon at Research Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.After learning that the shooting occurred at a house in the 5000 block of Chestnut Avenue, police went to the that residence and found another man dead. Police identified him as Eugene R. Wheeler, 20.Police did not release information about the circumstances surrounding the deaths or about possible suspects.Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.Read more Breaking News
