Updated: 2011-12-18T04:48:36Z

Liberty seniors Shea Groom and Kaysie Clark were repeat choices for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America’s All-America Team, which was announced earlier this month.

Groom, a forward, and Clark, a midfielder, were joined on the girls team by Blue Valley Northwest goalkeeper Emily Lillard and St. Thomas Aquinas defender Molly Khoury.

Two local players made the NSCAA’s boys team: Midfielder Derek Schrick of Rockhurst, and goalkeeper Evan Wright of Blue Valley.

The 78 boys and 81 girls on the teams will be recognized at the annual All-America Luncheon, to be held in the Kansas City Convention Center’s Grand Ballroom on Jan. 14, in conjunction with the 2012 NSCAA Convention.
