Liberty seniors Shea Groom and Kaysie Clark were repeat choices for the National Soccer Coaches Association of Americas All-America Team, which was announced earlier this month.

Six named to high school All-America team

Groom, a forward, and Clark, a midfielder, were joined on the girls team by Blue Valley Northwest goalkeeper Emily Lillard and St. Thomas Aquinas defender Molly Khoury.
Two local players made the NSCAAs boys team: Midfielder Derek Schrick of Rockhurst, and goalkeeper Evan Wright of Blue Valley.
The 78 boys and 81 girls on the teams will be recognized at the annual All-America Luncheon, to be held in the Kansas City Convention Centers Grand Ballroom on Jan. 14, in conjunction with the 2012 NSCAA Convention.
