Police officers stolen gun, gear still missing
November 28
Olathe police shirts, a pair of handcuffs and a gun were stolen between Nov. 18 and 24 while the officer was out of town. Nothing else was reported missing from the home, Sheriffs Deputy Tom Erickson said.
The sheriffs department is conducting interviews but has no suspects, a news release stated.
The department urged the public to ask for an officers official identification if they question an officers authenticity. Anyone with information should call the Sheriffs office, 913-715-5560, or the TIPS hotline, 816-474-TIPS.
