The Missouri, Kansas State and Missouri State volleyball teams will be heading to NCAA tournament.
The Tigers, who have been selected for the tournament 10 out of the last 12 seasons, will face Florida, 24-5, in the first round Friday at the McLeod Center in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Missouri, 21-12, will play either No. 6 Northern Iowa or Niagara if it advances.The Wildcats, who received an at-large bid to the tournament, will go to Lincoln, Neb., to play Wichita State, 21-10, in the first round Thursday at the NU Coliseum. The 2011 tournament will be the 13th time for Kansas State, 20-10, who missed the tournament the last two seasons. If they advance, the Wildcats will face Jackson State or No. 2 Nebraska.Missouri State, 22-8, will face host No. 15 Pepperdine, 22-6, on Thursday at Firestone Fieldhouse in Malibu, Calif.
