Police have identified the fan who they say struck Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen in the eye with a piece of a bobblehead doll.

Cody J. Wente, 23, of Leavenworth was charged Friday with aggravated battery, a felony. Bail has been set at $10,000, and he remains in custody in Wyandotte County.

Wente is one of two men who were arrested Wednesday night by Kansas City, Kan., police for allegedly throwing objects onto the field at Livestrong Sporting Park during Sporting KC's 3-1 victory over Portland.

Police have already identified Robert Hauver, 21, as the other man who was arrested. He was ticketed for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor, and released from jail Thursday.

Wyandotte County court personnel say Wente will likely make his first appearance before a judge on Monday.
