Time Warner phone hiccups

Time Warner Cable digital phone customers throughout the Midwest have seen service outages Wednesday.

Late Wednesday afternoon, the cable company said it thought it was on the verge of fixing the problems.

Matt Derrick, a local Time Warner spokesman, described the outages as intermittent and affected customers whose calls are routed through a facility in Peakview, Colo.

The outages started late Wednesday morning.
