Chipotle Mexican Grill - a fast-casual chain serving burritos, tacos, burrito bowls salads and more - will open a new operation in Blue Ridge Crossing on Tuesday.

The location, at 4151 Sterling Ave., Suite B, will be the 21st area location for the chain. The company also plans to get its green peppers and jalapenos from local farmers this summer and fall.

Blue Ridge Crossing is home to such retailers and restaurants as Wal-Mart, Lowe’s, Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, Fireshouse Subs, and McDonald’s.
